Lucky Daruma Helmet

The iconic lucky folk art from Japan, re-imagined by DSC into this commanding sculpture. Combing two favourite themes of David's work; a sense of danger and belief systems, packaged in a sense of limited edition playful whimsy.

Set a goal or wish in mind, then paint in one eye of the Daruma. Place it somewhere visible as a daily reminder of your intention. Work toward your goal — the blank eye is said to watch over you, motivating action. When your goal is achieved, paint in the second eye to complete the ritual and mark your success.
